Suddenly half a time shift? - I2OIM - 06-10-2025
Suddenly since yesterday BktTimeSync corrects my clock by half of what is indicated in the appropriate box. As far as I remember I have not changed any setting, but if I indicate to correct by one second the correction is 0.5 seconds, both in the log window and with the shift towards the corresponding FT8.
What could I have tampered with?

Ciao Pietro,
la correzione avviene tra l'ora attuale del tuo PC e l'orario passato dal server NTP e non è detto che la differenza sia esattamente quella impostata. Comunque ti consiglio di utilizzare il server NTP europe.pool.ntp.org o più genericamente pool.ntp.org e (se non hai una connessione internet estremamente lenta) mettere 0 la correzione.

Ciao, grazie. Purtroppo non è questo il problema: prima di sincronizzare spostato eseguo un sincronizzazione. Questi die messaggi sono prima e dopo aver messo +2 secondi nella casella correzione:
Ultima Sincronizzazione :mercoledì 11 giugno 2025 09:35:41
L'orologio è stato correttamente sincronizzato usando il server NTP
La differenza di orario è 0.002566 secondi
Ultima Sincronizzazione :mercoledì 11 giugno 2025 09:35:41

La differenza di orario è 1.008712 secondi
La diiferenza è sempre metà di quanto richiesto (controllato anche con delta T in FT8). Versione 1.20.3

Ti confermo che nella versione 1.20 l'offset NTP viene dimezzato, sarà corretto con la versione 1.20.4, però una curiosità : perchè ti serve questa correzione? Due secondi su NTP sono veramente tanti

Non è che uso 2 secondi, suo 0,3-0,6 per compensare sul QO-100 con Pluto le commutazioni sono in ritardo, e spesso devo ricentrare. Ho usato 2 secondi per dimostrazione...
