Using RIT
#1
Hi,

I am testing the IC7000BKT to remotely control mi rig. So far it works good but I don't see how to control the RIT.

Can you help please. Thanks.

Hi,
1. On the PC connected to the transceiver install BktServer2 (http://www.iz2bkt.com/ic7000bkten_download.html)
2. Install the program IC7000BKT on the remote PC
3. In IC7000BKT Configure COM select BKTCLIENT2.DLL

Hi Mauro and thanks for the answer.

My question was not about the remote connection, that it works, but about the possibility to use the RIT (Relative Incremental Tunning) in the program.

Meanwhile I have been reading the CI-V programming manual and apparently there is no command to get/set the value of RIT, but might be you would like to confirm it yourself that surely are more familitar with the CI-V interface of the IC-7000.

In old Kenwood rigs there is a CAT command to get/set the RIT (Long ago I programmed myself a CAT sw for the TS-690), so it's hard to believe that ICOM has left out this possibility in the IC-7000.

Thanks again. Gabriel - EA6VQ

Hi,
I'm sorry but in the IC-7000 CI-V command table I can not find the management of RIT, is probably not supported via CI-V interface.
