Windows "Set time automatically" setting?
#1
Should the Windows 10 setting 'Set time automatically" be turned on or off under "Date and time"?

Hi,
Not relevant, you can leave it on.

Thanks Mauro. I'm using BktTimeSync on a Windows 10 Tablet along with bluetooth TomTom gps receiver and finding it very difficult to maintain a reliable time sync. If I manage to get all the modules talking with each other, I'm often seeing large time corrections (~ 1 sec) every 1 minute. The time sync doesn't seem accurate enough for WSJT-X to run FT8 mode. I'm still working on it, but very frustrating.

Hi Barry,
The quality of GPS synchronization depends on how many satellites are used by the receiver.
Try changing MAX Error and synchronizing every hour.
