BKT Time Sync don't start with Win 7 [SOLVED]
#1
Dear Mauro,

I am using your fine software, version 1.9.1 for a few years, with Win 7, without any issue.
But since a few months, BKT TS doesn't star at Win 7 startup.

I tried to install/uninstall, and even asked Win 7 to start it automatically, but without any success.
A friend of mine, F6AFU, has the same setup and the same problem.
I contacted my friend Rémy F6ABJ, but it couldn't help.

Here is a screen copy of my parameters.

So Mauro I would appreciate your help.

Thanks and best regards

Hi Georges,
BktTimeSync using  windows scheduled tasks for autostart.
In the Windows scheduled tasks, search for BktTimeSyncStart and in the Actions tab check that the path is correct.

Hi Georges, please, try to build a new scheduled task:

1. Run Tasks Scheduler
2. Locate and delete BktTimeSyncStart
3. Click on Create Task
4. On General:
4.1. Name: BktTimeSyncStart
4.2. Check Run only when user is logged on
4.3. Check Run with highest privileges
5. On Triggers:
5.1. Click New
5.1.1. Begin the task: At log on
5.1.2. Check Any user
5.1.3. Check Delay task for 1 minute
6. On Action:
6.1. Click New
6.1.1.  Action : Start a program
6.1.2. Click on Browse, find and select BktTimeSyncStart.exe from BktTimeSync installation folder
6.1.3. Confirm OK
7. On Conditions un-check all
8. On Settings check only Allow task to be run on demand
9. Click OK

Hi Mauro,

Solved !

Many thanks to have taken the time to explain to me how to correctly set a schedule in Win 7.
A few of my parameters were obviously wrong when I tried to create the task.

Thank you again !

Best regards
