Memories...
#1
Hi Mauro,
Wonder if you could possibly post up some examples of the memory files? I am trying to load up my radio memories with all the local repeaters on 2mtrs. The CSV files I have downloaded don't seem to want to convert into IC706_BKT for some reason.

Best Wishes

Hi Brian,
try to enter some memory then exporting to CSV format so you can see the format requested for the import.

Remember the limitations of Icom IC-706 series : http://www.iz2bkt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29

1. What is the file name for the memories and where is it stored on the computer?
2. How to delete all memories at once?
3. Is the memory file save automatically?
4. Can one insert a memory in a sequence?

Thanks
Don

Hi Don,
1. The files of the memories are in the installation folder of the program,
MemPC.dat = PC Memory
MemRTX.dat = Radio Memory
*.mem = Custom Groups
2. Exit from the program and delete the memory file
3. Yes
4. You can sort memories by clicking on the column
