Initialization in progress

I have just installed v 1.16.0 connected to my ic7000 with Rigtalk USB on Windows 7. The program IZ2BKT loads and completes the speed communication then gets 12 bars into the initialization and halts. When I stop the process using task manger, the main screen displays briefly showing everything OK with the frequency currently on the ic7000 before it closes. Tried all the forum suggestions and re-installed but still get the same result. Any ideas?

Hi Roy,
Try this:
1. Uninstall the program
2. If it exists, delete the folder C:\IZ2BKT\IC7000BKT
3. Install the program in the folder C:\IZ2BKT\IC7000BKT

Hi Mauro,
thanks for the reply. I had not specified a folder for the audio files. From the documentation I thought it defaulted to the home directory. When the audio pop up appeared (before initialization) I specified the home directory for the audio file instead of leaving it blank and it worked fine!
