Client/Server Operation?
#1
Hi, All...

I am currently hospitalized and have set up a fully-licensed version of IC7000BKT at a friend's house. I access the PC that is running BKT by using VNC to access the desktop and EchoLink to feed me the audio. While this works, it is cumbersome.

It appears that there is BKTServer. My questions are:
Is there a BKTClient or does IC7000BKT act as the client?
Is there documentation on how to set up a server/client relationship that provides full rig control and audio?

I have searched for this info but, to be honest, my illness limits my patience.
Thanks, in advance.

Hi Mike,
- Remote PC: Run IC7000BKT and in serial port configuration selected BKTCLIENT.DLL
- PC connected to the IC-7000: Run BktServer

In IC7000BKT use the F1 key and look [Remote Management by TCP/IP] for more information on BktServer and BktClient.
