I have received the registration key ZL4LVIC7000BKT.bkt and installed it in the IC7000BKT Icom cat control folder as instructed. When attempting to register the program it crashes with a Windows error message then restarts without being registered. The registration key file has also been deleted. I have the latest version of the program installed. I have made several attempts with the same results. I have Norton Security installed, Windows 7 Pro in use.
I have since tried it on another computer and the registration was successful. I suspect Norton is the problem, any suggestions?

I get the following error message when trying to connect to the IC7100 :
"Error Connecting:
java.net.SocketTimeoutException: failed to connect to x.x.0.2 (my PC) (port 7060) after 5000ms."
Ports 7060 through 7063 are open (TCP and UDP) in the Windows firewall.
BktRemote also allowed
Ports 7060 to 7063 set up TCP in port forwarding in my router.
Running Windows XP on the PC and Android 5,1 on the smartphone.
IC7100NKT running just fine,
BktRemote show no error on the PC
Help and/or suggestions welcomed

Questa estate ci eravamo sentiti per quanto riguarda l’oscillatore stabilizzato per i il ts 50 e avevo anche chiesto info per quanto riguarda il circuto cat.
Nelle ferie di Natale ho approntato il circuito con una piccola,l variante: invece di usare un max 232 collegato a una seriuale ho usato un circuito basato sul chip cp1202 che è un convertitore usb ttl uart ( soluzione molto comoda per quanto riguarda la seriale: se non hai la seriale sul pc: i portatili non hanno più le seriali.. con questo convertitore sei a posto).
Io uso il programma catbkt. Ho configurato il programma me mi fa uno scherzo strano: parte il programma vede la frequenza correttamente ma alla fine della sincronizzazione mi dice Off line e non parla più con l’apparato.. Ho provato anche a isolare i criteri per vedere se ci fossero dei conflitti ma funziona allo stesso modo…
Io ho configurato il programma come 4800 boud 8N2.
Hai mica qualche info in più o hai fatto qualche prova in questo senso?
