BktTimeSync 1.20.1 - Languages messed up
#1
When I select e.g. English then the BktTimeSync switches to German. I have tried a few languages before it switched to English.

Hi,
Yes, I understand you're experiencing an issue where BktTimeSync switches to German even after you select English.

I have tried switching between languages myself and haven't encountered this specific problem.

It is necessary to restart the BktTimeSync application after choosing the language for the change to take full effect. Could you please ensure you've restarted the application completely after making the language selection? If the issue persists after a restart, it might indicate a more specific problem with your installation or system configuration.

Hi Mauro,

My system is Windows 11 in Czech version.

The app always stops after changing the language and I have to start it again.
I guess it is the intended behaviour.

I am not so big language expert to be able to distinguish Japanese from Chinese
or Catalonian from Spanish :-)

My observation is:
Catala -> OK?
Deutsch -> Chinese?
English -> German
Espanol -> English
Francais -> Spanish?
Chinese -> French
Italiano -> OK
Japanese -> OK?
Polski -> OK
Portugese -> OK?
Russian -> OK

I checked the English.lng file and it looks really English.

Hi Mauro,

I guess I found the cause. Czech Windows sort the files in a different order.
"Chinese" follows "Catala" in English. It is not true in Czech :-)
"Chinese" follows "Francais" in our alphabet.

I removed Chinese.lng from the folder and everything started working normally.
In fact, I can use only English and Russian versions.
Maybe, I will try to create Czech.lng.

73! and tnx for the software - Miloš OK1FMY
