Tried to set an HF channel 7.215Mhz on LSB.
So I've got
VFO-A 7.215,000
Mode-A LSB
Filter-A Off
VFO-B 7.215,000
Mode-B LSB
Filter-B Off
Split NOSPLIT
DUP NODUP
Tone OFF
TSQL Off
Tone blank

Sync with the radio....but when I select the channel from the radio or through bkt is comes up FM.
If can select LSB from the bkt control panel...just doesn't work from memory chanells.
I'm on version 4.13.1

When ever I try to download the BKT Server II, my Norton antivirus is completely stopping and deleting the software with a dangerous warning and preventing any form of download at this point. What next?

I am trying to setup for remote control, but I can not find BKT server anywhere. I have look online, and in the program files on the hard drive. How do I get BKTserver?

It has been a long time sinse I have used the remote control. I see many things have changed. How do it set up for this. I am going to use LAN for the linking. A lynksys RG45 with desktop as main computer running the radio. and a laptop with wireless card...I am at a total loss as what to do anymore.
Step by step instructions would be great.

BkTimesyn has been working for me for some months now without problems. However today I cannot get a syn and get this error

Failed to retreive time from NTP server ntp1.inrim.it on port 123, GetLastError returned 10060
Any advice please?

Any critical specs other than SIRF III?

Hi All,

I am trying to get my Kenwood TK-80 / TRC-80 to work with the CATBKT software.
I have made an interface using the MAX-232 and 74C04 chips and it is communicating well.
I can change almost anything on the rig from the PC-but NOT the frequency , and I don't see the 'S' meter. The Frequency also displays ' OFFLINE'.

I really want to make this work for an article in our local Ham Magazine, so any help would be appreciated, I think it is in the software--I can send a copy of the TRC-80 command set if that is needed to verify the software.
Sometrimes, If I try the TS-570s software on the TRC -80 , it will read the frequency, but only when synchronising.
There are MANY of these rigs in South Africa, they are very good but hard to control, so the CATBKT software is a great help if working properly.

Something is missing, I should be a way or a possibility to run the program without a radio connected.

I have my "rig" out in the contryplace, not at home and it's not possible to set up anything in the program, for later transfer into the "rig".
I really miss that, it's possible to do so on my program for my FT-897.

Above that I would like to know how I can "insert" a freq in the middle of the list, if possible?

When synchronizing the radio from a csv file on a thumb drive the program seems to work properly right up to the end. At which time I receive the following error message.

"IC706_BKT control of the RTX IC706 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I have not found reference to this problem in the forum. Can you tell me what I need to do to correct the error?
