If you can't connect to the rtx with the program could be a drivers problem, especially if you use USB interfaces, to resolve this problem, you can try to use a virtual COM port:

1) Download the Virtual Serial Ports Emulator VSPE ( free for 32 bit operating systems ) from here: http://eterlogic.com/Products.VSPE.html
2) Install and run VSPE
3) Power On the RTX

From VSPE:
4) From the Menu Device select Create
5) In Device Type select Splitter and click Next
6) In Virtual Serial Port select a COM free (or leaves that proposal from the program)
7) From Date Source Serial Port select the COM connected to rtx
8) Un-check Read-only and Redirect modem registers
9) Click End

From IC7000BKT:
10) Launch the program IC7000BKT ( version 1.15.0 or higher )
11) Go to Utility->Configuration->Com configuration
12) In Port select the COM created in point 6
13) In Serial Port Mode select MODE 2
14) Confirm all with OK

Thanks for responding to my request for a timed start/stop on the recorder function.

I finally cracked the character code to join the forum!

JT65-HF shows the frequency from IC7000BKT using the "Commander" check box but does not change the frequency when clicking on a different frequency using the drop down list on JT65-HF nor does it operate the PTT. I think it does the same with Commander and that only HRD can change the frequency and operate PTT. Is there something I am not doing? I tried starting MyDDE but could not get it to start with IC7000BKT and JT65-HF running. MyDDE works well with Orbitron though.

Ho cercato di uare il tuo prg con IC 756 pro 3 e le porte splittate di VSPE per usare
piu' prg insieme ,( questo lo faccio normalmente con tutti i prg in
digitale) purtroppo non le legge VEDE SOLTANTO LE COM ( USB )ISTALLATE.
Cortesemente c'e' qualche modo per poterlo fare? o debbo settarle
diversamente?

Salve,
di frequente esce la mascherina con su scritto "Errore non Specificato" e il programma si blocca.
Io uso la radio in CW e in FULL BK-IN e quando leggo la freq. sembra un pò impazzire.
Come posso risolvere il problema

Sto avendo problemi con il programma, dopo pochi minuti che funziona si
blocca tutto.
Ho variato la porta,la velocità non so cos'altro fare.
Uso un cavetto usb nuovo,mi è arrivato proprio oggi.
Ho provato sia sulla radio che nel programma a variare la velocità, ma si
blocca!
Il blocco avviene dopo che con la radio mi sono spostato di freq.,cambiato
banda ecc.
Se lascio tutto fermo non si blocca.
Cosa mi suggerisci di fare?
